A Japan-based food company specializing in traditional grain and health-focused food products is seeking a Marketing & Sales Associate to support brand growth, market expansion, and promotional activities in the U.S.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about Japanese food culture, enjoys connecting with people, and is interested in growing within the food industry. You will support a wide range of marketing, promotional, and sales activities while helping expand the presence of Japanese food brands in the U.S. market. 📍 Position Details

• 📍 Location: Costa Mesa, CA
• 💰 Salary: $72K – $80K
• 🕒 Employment Type: Full-Time / Exempt
• 🏢 Work Style: Hybrid (2–3 days/week in office)
• 🌎 Language: English (Fluent) / Japanese (Conversational Level Welcome!)

🧾 Key Responsibilities

🍙 Marketing & Sales Support

• Support marketing and sales activities for Japanese food products in the U.S. market
• Assist with promotions, brand awareness initiatives, and market research
• Support strategic growth initiatives for the North American market

📣 Digital Marketing & Events

• Coordinate with external marketing partners for digital marketing and social media activities
• Support online promotions and social media campaigns
• Participate in trade shows, food industry events, and promotional activities

🤝 Relationship Building & Communication

• Help develop relationships with clients, distributors, and business partners
• Communicate and collaborate with the Japan headquarters
• Analyze customer feedback and market trends to support marketing efforts

🌎 Cross-Cultural & Operational Support

• Provide general administrative and operational support
• Participate in approximately 2 weeks of training in Japan upon joining
