📍 Job Opening: Accounting Assistant Manager

• Location: South Bay Area, CA
• Type: Exempt, Full-Time

• Compensation: $70K–$95K

💼 Key Responsibilities

• Support operations and the Accounting Manager in payments, billing, and logistics-related accounting
• Ensure timely completion of general ledger functions, month/quarter/year-end closings, and audit preparation
• Confirm sales revenue, manage accounting schedules (closing, audits, meetings)
• Manage cash flow, bank transactions, disbursements, and audit correspondence
• Oversee AP/AR, review transactions, and troubleshoot accounting issues
• Analyze records, budgets, and financial trends to support management decisions
• Prepare financial reports and recommend improvements
• Provide guidance, delegate tasks, and review staff performance
• Train staff and provide regular feedback

👤 You Might Be a Fit If…

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
• 3–5 years of accounting experience
• Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookup, formulas)
• Able to work overtime during busy season (Jan–Apr)
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Leadership potential and interest in staff development
