You’ll also support performance reviews, compensation strategy, employee communication, and international transfers—including assisting with work visas in collaboration with legal partners. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping people succeed in a multicultural, bilingual workplace.

📍 Position Details

• Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)
• Salary: $65,000–$90,000 (Exempt)
• Type: Full-time, Direct Hire
• Language: Japanese-English bilingual required

💼 What You’ll Do

• Lead recruitment efforts, from job description to onboarding
• Handle payroll preparation, deductions, and coordination with payroll providers
• Administer employee benefits (401(k), health insurance, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with U.S. federal and state labor laws
• Support performance reviews, compensation strategy, and HR system updates
• Conduct orientations, exit interviews, and employee communications
• Assist international transfers and visa processes with legal partners

👤 Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree (HR major preferred)
• 5+ years of HR experience, ideally as an HR specialist
• Strong knowledge of U.S. labor laws and HR systems
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Fluent in Japanese and English (verbal & written)
