Our client is launching an exciting Japanese-inspired bakery concept in California, with plans for franchise expansion across the state.
They are seeking a passionate and experienced Head Baker / chef who is ready to take ownership of daily production, lead the kitchen, and actively contribute to product development as the brand grows.
This is more than a baking role — it’s an opportunity to build, lead, and shape a growing bakery business from the inside.

📍 Position Details

📌  Location: Redondo Beach, CA
💼 Employment Type: Direct Hire, Non-Exempt
💰 Salary: $55K–$65K
🏢 Work Style: Onsite

🥨 What You’ll Do

• Lead daily bakery production and maintain high product quality
• Develop and improve bread and pastry items
• Support menu development for future franchise locations
• Train and guide bakery staff
• Ensure consistency, efficiency, and food safety standards

• Strong knowledge of dough, bread, and pastry handling
