A growing international organization is seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to lead day-to-day finance and accounting operations while supporting business growth and process improvement initiatives.

💰 Salary: $95K – $120K

🧾 Key Responsibilities

📊 Finance & Accounting Operations

• Manage day-to-day finance and accounting activities
• Oversee billing support, collections coordination, and accounts receivable processes
• Maintain accurate financial records in collaboration with external accounting firms
• Support implementation and operation of finance-related systems

📑 Financial Reporting & Closing

• Support monthly and year-end closing processes
• Coordinate with external accounting firms to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Review financial statements and identify variances, trends, and risks
• Provide financial insights and reporting to leadership and global stakeholders

🏛 Tax & Compliance

• Coordinate with external tax advisors regarding U.S. compliance requirements
• Support Sales Tax filings and related documentation
• Assist with transfer pricing documentation and compliance activities
• Monitor regulatory changes and communicate potential risks

📈 Budgeting & Process Improvement

• Conduct budget versus actual analysis
• Support budgeting and financial planning activities
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
• Assist in developing finance policies, procedures, and internal controls

🤝 Cross-Functional Support

• Collaborate with sales, operations, and administrative teams
• Support finance-related administrative activities during the initial growth phase
• Assist with operational alignment and organizational scaling initiatives

🎯 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or related functions
• Strong knowledge of U.S. accounting practices and monthly close processes
• Experience working with external accounting or tax firms
• Advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with global teams

• CPA or equivalent professional certification
• Japanese language ability
• Experience within multinational or rapidly growing organizations
• ERP or accounting software experience
